Purchases & Remortgages

Purchases

Whether you are a first-time buyer or a home mover, we can provide you with all the help you need in getting the right mortgage – and with the huge number of mortgage products on the market, it’s important to get the right advice.

We can advise you of things such as: the maximum amount that you can borrow, how much deposit you will need, and guide you through the whole house-buying process.

In addition to arranging the mortgage application and dealing with your lender, we will liaise with the estate agent, your solicitor, the surveyor, and ensure that things go as smoothly as possible.

If you want us to recommend a good local solicitor and surveyor, we can even do that as well.

We will also advise you about the all-important insurance that you need to protect your mortgage and family.

Remortgages

A remortgage is simply the term used for the process of transferring your existing mortgage to another lender, and people do it for a variety of reasons. As with mortgages for house purchase, when making a recommendation for a remortgage we take into account both the interest rate and the amount of fees charged by the lender. Many remortgage products come with no arrangement fees, a free valuation and free legal work, which are ideal for smaller mortgages. But our advice will take this and many other things into account, so why not leave the hard work to us.

Some of the common reasons for a remortgage are:-

  • Obtain a more competitive deal
  • Capital raising for home improvements or say for buying a car (capital raising for most legal reasons are usually acceptable)
  • Divorce settlement (transfer of equity)
  • Adding or removing someone from the mortgage (transfer of equity)

So why not give us a ring and see if a remortgage would benefit you.
